Description
Second time I did a big drawing on black paper. Used 5 base colorsFinished some time in 2005(have no idea when I started or how long it took, it was just hanging there for long periods of time)
No references
Size: A1 (I had to take a picture of it to get it in here since it's too huge for my scanner, which resulted in loss of some of the details :/ if anyone has good advice on how to get better results, they're most welcome)
>>>Please also take a look at the closeups, they reveal important things that aren't so noticeable in this version!!

If your image is larger than your scanner is capable, scan it twice or more depending on size then reassemble it in Photoshop or similar program.

thanks for the constructive crits, however..
i don't know about the hair, i wanted to keep all of it away from his face and limit it to very few strands..actually he was bald originally, then i figured he looks too much like the image in his own eyes, which would be kind of confusing..but i see what you mean about the forehead, maybe it should be a bit more curvy
Diegoth: thanks very much, glad you like it!

You've put a lot of effort in it and it shows
Nice details, the nosewings look a bit weird
but somehow suits the character

the eyes and the nose adds a lot to the work.

by the way, did anyone figure out what he's looking at yet?

i see what you mean about what he's looking at, a smiley! lol JK. maybe he's dead son or relative. that's why he's sad! overall a great addition to your gallery. thanks for sharing your work! ^^,

see this is what i love about not rushing in with what my thoughts were while creating the artwork. i hadn't thought about the relative thing at all. to me it was just obvious that it must be himself that's dying and it's the smirking face of the reaper that he's seeing. thanks a bunch for your feedback, man, i'm really glad you like it!
Daykan & deManuel: thank you very very much! all comments are greatly appreciated!
